Motorcycle - 1948 Chief

Owned by Jared Butler - AMCA Judged at Wauseon OH, 2010

July 16th 17th and 18th 2010 saw the Wauseon National Show with Long Track Races, Vendors and Swop meet.

On the Sunday the AMCA Judging took place for the Classic Antique Motorcycles.

Jared Rinker  (AMCA #6803) had entered his 1948 Chief, serial CD46949 to be Judged by the AMCA.

During the judging the AMCA Senior Judge, Marty Megregian led the other two officials in assessing the motorcycle within its class.

This being the first time that Jared had restored a motorcycle, Marty went that extra mile to offer encouragement  to Jared on the standard of his work, as well as offering tips and advise for making improvements and enhancements to the already beautifully restored Indian.

Video footage of the Judging was captured from start to finish, and, thanks to Marty and his colleagues, this stands as an excellent reference and educational  journal.

Any re-builders and / or restorers of this model of Indian would benefit from watching these videos.

Thanks to Marty and the AMCA for the excellent work they do.

Following the judging we captured many detailed photographs which complement the video footage in producing this very informative reference material.

Please take the time to watch the sequential Videos, and browse through the Photograph Gallery below.
